After two successful Renewable Energy Resource Area (“YEKA”) tenders conducted in 2017, which both are at the development and financing stage, and after the tender announcement for the 3rd YEKA Project, namely the 1.200 MW Offshore Wind YEKA tender launced in June 2018, the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources has announced the locations for new solar and wind YEKA projects on 29 September 2018 as follows:
Solar YEKA Projects:
- Hatay (Erzin)
- Niğde (Bor)
- Şanlıurfa (Viranşehir)
Wind YEKA Projects:
- Edirne (Enez, Keşan)
- Kırklareli (Vize, Demirköy)
- Sivas (Kangal)
- Sivas (Gürün)
- Eskişehir (Tepebaşı)
